Who is responsible for your data

NewEducare operates this site and decides how the personal data described here is used. For any question about this policy or to exercise a right under it, write to us through the contact page.

What we collect

Account data. Your name, email address and an encrypted form of your password. We never see or store your password in a readable form.

Test data. The attempts you start, the answers you give, the time you spend on each question, and the scores and reports produced from them. This is the substance of the service: without it there is no report and no way to compare attempts.

Purchase data. What you bought, when, for how much, and the reference our payment processor assigns to the transaction. We do not receive or store your card number, expiry date or security code at any point.

Technical data. Standard server logs, which include IP address, browser and the pages requested. These are used to keep the service running and secure.

Why we use it

• To give you an account and let you sign in (performance of a contract).
• To run tests, mark them and produce your reports (performance of a contract).
• To take payment and give you access to what you bought (performance of a contract).
• To answer support requests (legitimate interest in running the service).
• To detect abuse, fraud and attacks (legitimate interest in security).
• To keep records required by tax and accounting law (legal obligation).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your answers or results for advertising.

Shared account system

NewEducare is one of a group of test-preparation sites that share a single account system and a single database. If you already have an account with another site in that group, it is the same account here. Your account details and test history are therefore held in that shared system rather than in a separate NewEducare-only store.

What you have purchased is recorded per product and per site, so a purchase made on one site does not grant access on another.

Processors we use

• Stripe — payment processing. You enter card details directly on Stripe’s own form; they are not transmitted to us.
• Supabase — database and authentication hosting for the shared account system.
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
• Resend — transactional email, such as password resets and purchase confirmations.

Each of these acts on our instructions under a data-processing agreement. Some are located outside the country you are in; transfers are made under the safeguards those providers maintain for international transfers.

How long we keep it

• Account and test data: for as long as your account is open.
• Inactive accounts: deleted after a period of continuous inactivity, with the deletion recorded in an audit log that holds no personal content.
• Purchase and invoice records: for the period tax law requires, which is longer than the life of the account.
• Server logs: a short rolling window, then discarded.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to object to a use based on legitimate interest. Where a use relies on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Ask through the contact page from the email address on the account. We verify the request before acting on it, because acting on an unverified request would itself be a breach. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Several of the exams we publish practice tests for are taken by school-age candidates. If you are under the age at which you can agree to online services in your country, ask a parent or guardian to create the account and agree to the terms on your behalf.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page and update the date below. Continuing to use the service after a change means the updated policy applies.
