ACT
A United States university admissions test covering English, Mathematics and Reading, with optional Science and Writing sections.
SSAT
The admissions test used by independent secondary schools, sat at Elementary, Middle or Upper level according to the applicant's year group.
IB
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, assessed subject by subject at Higher or Standard Level alongside the core requirements.
AP
Advanced Placement subject examinations, taken to earn university credit or placement while still at school.
IGCSE
International General Certificate of Secondary Education subject examinations, usually sat at the end of two years of study.
A-Level
Advanced Level subject examinations, the usual basis for admission to universities in the United Kingdom and many other countries.
IELTS
An English proficiency test reporting Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking on a 0-9 band scale, available in Academic and General Training versions.
TOEFL
The TOEFL iBT, an English proficiency test taken in about two hours in the order Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking. It now reports each section and the overall result on a 1-6 band scale, with a comparable 0-120 score published during the transition.
UCAT
The aptitude test used by medical and dental schools in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, testing reasoning rather than curriculum knowledge.
IMAT
The entrance examination for English-taught medical degrees at Italian public universities.
LNAT
The National Admissions Test for Law, required by a number of United Kingdom law schools, combining multiple-choice reasoning with an essay.
LSAT
The admissions test for law schools in the United States and Canada, testing logical and analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

Questions people ask before buying
Are NewEducare practice tests real exam questions?
No. Every question is written for NewEducare to match the published format, difficulty and topic distribution of the exam it prepares for. Reproducing questions from a real sitting would breach the exam board's copyright, so we do not do it and you should be cautious of any provider that claims to.
Do I have to pay to try a practice test?
No. Each exam has one full-length diagnostic test that is free after you create an account. It uses the same test engine, the same timing rules and the same score report as the paid tests, so it is a genuine sample rather than a trailer.
Is NewEducare affiliated with the College Board, ETS, GMAC or Pearson?
No. NewEducare is an independent practice-test provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by any examination board. Exam names are used only to describe which exam a practice test prepares for.
How long do I keep access to a test I buy?
Purchased tests stay in your account for 365 days from the date of purchase. Within that period you can review your answers and explanations as often as you like; how many times a test can be re-sat is shown on the test's own page.
What currency am I charged in?
All prices on NewEducare are in US dollars and you are charged in US dollars. The price shown on the product page is the price charged — there is no conversion step and no separate handling fee added at checkout.
Can I use the same account on other sites in this group?
Yes. NewEducare uses the same central account system as the other test-preparation sites in the group, so you sign in with one set of credentials. What you have purchased is checked separately for each product, so a purchase made elsewhere is not automatically access here.
Does the test save my answers if my connection drops?
Yes. Answers are written as you go and kept locally as well, so a dropped connection or a closed tab does not lose your work. When you return to the test you resume at the same question with the remaining time intact.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not started the test you are asking to refund. Once a test has been started its questions and explanations have been delivered, so it cannot be returned. The full terms are in the refund policy.
How payment is handled
Card details are entered on Stripe's own hosted payment form and are never sent to or stored on NewEducare's servers. Prices are charged in US dollars, the amount is confirmed on the server before the payment is created, and access to a purchased test is granted only after Stripe confirms the payment. You get a receipt and an invoice by e-mail.
