What TR-YOS involves

Two tests in one 100-minute sitting: the Numerical Aptitude Test and the Basic Mathematics Test, 40 questions each, five options per question, no calculator. Four wrong answers cancel one correct answer. Taken from ÖSYM's 2026 TR-YOS guide.

Who takes it
International applicants to Turkish universities, including many who take a university's own entrance test alongside the national one.
How it is scored
ÖSYM turns each test's net (correct answers minus a quarter of the wrong ones) into a standard score normed against everyone in the session and weights them 0.45 and 0.55; universities set their own admission thresholds.

NewEducare reports each YOS test's net and a weighted net in ÖSYM's 0.45 and 0.55 proportions. The normed score cannot be worked out from one paper, so none is invented.

How many TR-YOS practice tests does NewEducare have?

There are 21 full-length TR-YOS practice tests, 1 of which is free. Each is a complete test with every section, not a sample of questions.

Are these real TR-YOS questions?

No. Every question is written for NewEducare to match the published format, difficulty and topic distribution of TR-YOS. Real exam questions are copyrighted and cannot lawfully be republished.

Is the TR-YOS practice test timed like the real exam?

Yes. Each section runs to the official time limit, the timer continues if you leave the tab, and the test submits itself when time runs out — the same constraint you face on test day.

Can I retake a TR-YOS practice test?

Yes, once. Every test, free or bought, can be sat twice: your first attempt and one retake. Both attempts are kept separately so you can compare them.

Do I get explanations for the TR-YOS questions I get wrong?

Yes. After you submit, every question can be reviewed with your answer, the correct answer and a worked explanation. Explanations are not sent to the browser before you submit.
