What the GRE General Test involves

One Analytical Writing task, two Verbal Reasoning sections and two Quantitative Reasoning sections, running just under two hours in total. The second section in each measure adapts to performance on the first.

130-170 for each of Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning; 0-6 for Analytical Writing.

Are these real GRE General Test questions?

No. Every question is written for NewEducare to match the published format, difficulty and topic distribution of the GRE General Test. Real exam questions are copyrighted and cannot lawfully be republished.

Is the GRE General Test practice test timed like the real exam?

Yes. Each section runs to the official time limit, the timer continues if you leave the tab, and the test submits itself when time runs out — the same constraint you face on test day.

Can I retake a GRE General Test practice test?

Yes, once. Every test, free or bought, can be sat twice: your first attempt and one retake. Both attempts are kept separately so you can compare them.

Do I get explanations for the GRE General Test questions I get wrong?

Yes. After you submit, every question can be reviewed with your answer, the correct answer and a worked explanation. Explanations are not sent to the browser before you submit.
